Thermal damage is visible: charred wood, melted materials, burned surfaces. Smoke damage is more insidious: acidic soot attacks metal, fabric and finishes, and combustion odours migrate into ventilation ducts and wall cavities within hours.
We treat both in parallel. Superficial soot cleaning without odour treatment is work you'll redo in 3 months.
